Mac Pro

Ease of use

We love the Mac Pro. It is great looking piece of engineering but sometimes, we wish it is a bit easier to handle. Rotating it can be a hassle. The problem with a cylindrical design is that there is no hand hold to rotate the Mac Pro. Why rotate? Because all of its ports are located in the back. In a world of frequent USB use, having to reach behind the Mac Pro can be inconvenient or, depending on where it is stored, perhaps impossible.

Organize

Aside from this one design flaw, there really isn’t anything else. Instead, it is the rest of the desk space we find to be lacking. For such a beautifully designed device, its beauty can be loss among the cable clutter of a desk. There are many cable organizers out there but none are combined in an all inclusive accessory.

Security

For such an expensive investment, let’s not security. It is better to be safe than missing a Mac Pro that you left out in the open. With the Pro Base, space is saved and the Mac Pro is now more convenient and secure, all within one accessory. Three features for the price of one. A practical and quality design - now that’s better living.

Manufacturing Process

Our manufacturing center is located in Suzhou, China where we work with our vendors to create the high quality products you see sold here.

Notice the intricate and time-consuming tooling and molding of each product so that their design and quality is superior to that of anything else on the market.

AirLatch | AirLock

AirBase

We don’t just print out a design and have them crank out a few hundred low quality products. We spend months designing, testing and improving, then repeating the last two until we’re satisfied that we are giving the best to our buyers.

Our jacks-of-all trades engineers, Luke and Sam, have really stepped up to produce some great ideas for box graphics. Who needs a whole team of graphic designers when you have this dynamic duo? Now, when you receive your AirBase, AirLatch, AirLock or AirGuard, you’ll know exactly what you’re getting inside the box before you even open it!

Airbase's Metal Construction Has No Affect on Apple Extreme/Time Capsule Performance

The question of the hour…does the metal construction of the Airbase interfere with the wireless signal?

The answer is... no! Let's think a moment...if metal construction affected WiFi how would all those awesome Macbook Pros get signal? It would take strong concrete walls to even make a dent in your signal, not to mention the Apple Extreme/Time Capsule themselves have metal inside them! Don’t believe us? Check out this iFixit page where they broke down (literally) what was inside the Apple Extreme and what do you know, there's metal!

https://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/AirPort+Extreme+A1521+Teardown/15044

Are you convinced yet? If not, we have one last point:

Our Airbase was specifically designed to stop way below the level of the antenna which is located at the highest point inside the Apple Extreme/Time Capsule. So, the Airbase holds up and securely mounts your Apple Extreme/Time Capsule while the antenna peeps out free and receptive to that wireless signal. But wait, it gets better! The metal surface of the Airbase gives the Apple Extreme/Time Capsule a plane to bounce the signal off of so that you get even better coverage and range! So even if the metal DID interfere, which it doesn’t, our Airbase doesn’t cover the antenna.

So to all those doubters of our beautiful aluminum base unit, don’t fall for the trick and buy a cheap plastic reproduction…quality will always win out in the end!
